today in aarzu's sports practice i was waiting on the sideline to cheer her. while she was warming up she lost her all england badminton gold medal in the ground and was searching for it frantically running around the ground. suddenly i heard a slow tweeting behind me. i turned and looked up in the tree behind me. there was a baby parrot that was a little ruffled and blue. i ran the back of my hand under his chin. the baby parrot was having fever. i took him to owl, the doctor in the tree hole down the yard. the owl inspected the baby parrot moving his head round and round and gave the baby parrot a prescription of two sunflower seeds in the morning and night and three pieces of pumpkin rinds three times a day. the owl asked the baby parrot to go sometime to see the peafowl dance and hear the koel songs. slowly a breeze took over the copse and all birds went over their daily work. i all of a sudden was left wondering if anybody would believe me about a baby parrot having got a fever and allowing me to take him to the owl doctor. aarzu for sure would not believe me. as i was thinking about it a little girl with round glasses and a white hairband and a quick mop of hair on her head broke into a toothy smile vaguely in my direction. i seemed to not notice and then all of a sudden it happened. she quickly darted to me from across the pathway and asked me inquisitively, "uncle, i'm kabini, did you see a baby parrot here? i have brought him some sunflower seeds and some pieces of pumpkin rind", holding out a clutch bag to my face.
