we lived in chennai in long back time, i a very small boy of seven, one day we want to an own house of a woman who defined hospitality for that year for me, good food ample helpings encouraging presence of many children of the house and then dollops of banter play banter play play play banter when all of a sudden our part seemed to be over and we got up with our reinvites and i got that twiddling feeling of expectancy and at that time the award winner went like oh wait i'll take you to our mhaadi and quietly climbed the stairs to their rooftop and there, the whole place was covered beans plant which we call avarai - the place was fully covered with the green of the avarai and we picked many pods and quickly filled of bags with those avarai beans which make a sweetish taste in poriyal and kulambu, and then they soon talked about clearing off the patch because its taking lots of effort and is a safe place for vermin - i really thought that they should maintain that garden well as they were growing supergood after all - after some debates the lady promised that the avarai patch will be retained!! whoaAAH!!
